Maldives’ national carrier Maldivian’s newest addition to its seaplane fleet arrived in the archipelago late Tuesday.
This is the third seaplane acquired by Maldivian’s operator Island Aviation Services (IAS) this year and the ninth seaplane in its fleet. It landed in Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA) at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday night.
IAS’ earlier acquisitions were in June and July this year.
The company is yet to announce the date for the new seaplane’s first operation.
