Judicial Service Commission (JSC) received a disciplinary case regarding Family Court Judge Huzaifa Mohamed.
Reportedly, the complaint was submitted by an employee of the Family Court during the past week.
The judiciary watchdog is also investigating cases involving Family Court Chief Judge Hassan Saeed and Supreme Court Judge Abdulla Didi. JSC ordered the suspension of both judges on June 12.
Despite the Supreme Court issuing a stay order on the suspension of Judge Didi, JSC maintained that the suspension was in effect and continued with its investigation.
JSC has formed a seven-member committee to investigate a total of five cases against Judge Didi.
