Hosted under the theme, 'Investing in a Resilient and Sustainable Maldives', the event marked the first occasion in a decade that the country invited close bilateral and multilateral partners to deliberate on the direction of government and its main priorities.

Several Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) were signed at the Forum which was deemed a success for demonstrating new pathways for collaboration with development partners from across the world.

In response to Vice President Faisal's remarks, the foreign envoys and institutional directors all expressed eagerness to increase collaboration in vital areas and further develop pre-existing relationships.
