Maldives, India talk improving Senahiya services

Minister of Defence Mariya Ahmed Didi on Sunday discussed improving the facilities of the military hospital, Senahiya, with senior officers of the Indian Armed Forces.

Defence Ministry stated that Director General of Armed Forces Medical Services of India Major General Prashanth Bharadwaj paid a courtesy call on the minister and discussed ways to further improve the quality of services available at Senahiya.

Major Bharadwaj and deputies of the Indian defence force also met with Chief of Defence Force Abdulla Shamal and Minister of Health Abdulla Ameen.

The aid extended by India to Maldives showed increase during President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s tenure, and foreign relations between both nations have improved.
