Ambassador of Germany to Maldives Jörn Rohde exchanged views on countering terrorism and violent extremism in Maldives with Minister of Foriegn Affairs Abdulla Shahid on Monday.
They held the discussion during the ambassador's courtesy call on the minister at the foreign ministry.

During the meeting, the Foreign Minister and German Ambassador also discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between both countries and highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation in the renewable energy sector.
Shahid was accompanied by Director at Foreign Affairs Shiuneen Rasheed at the sit-down.
