A residence on the island of Gan in Laamu Atoll, on Sunday, caught fire and resulted in considerable damages.
According to the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), the incident was reported to the Kadhdhoo fire station at 1258 hours and the fire was extinguished at 1:50 hours.
