UCSI lowers medicine course rates for Maldivian students

UCSI University Malaysia signed an agreement with the government of Maldives to teach medicine courses for Maldivian students at low rates.

According to the Ministry of Higher Education, UCSI will offer a 15 percent discount for Doctor of Medicine and Bachelors of Pharmacy Honours, as per the agreement.

The ministry declared that discounts of 15-20 percent will be implemented for an additional 50 courses.

Making higher education easily accessible was one of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's electoral pledges. In accordance with the vow, the government is also providing undergraduate courses free of charge.
