The Parliament has scheduled a session for April 15.
Parliament Secretariat revealed that the date was after discussions were held between Parliament Speaker Gasim Ibrahim and leaders of the parliamentary groups.
However, the agenda for the session has not been revealed.
The session will be the last sitting of the 18th parliament.
The parliament pronounced that the newly elected lawmakers will take their oaths in May.
Nearing the end of the current parliament, several bills presented by the government are yet to pass the committee stage, including a bill granting powers to recently established presidential committee and legal profession bill. The government has expressed concern over the stagnant.
