National airline Maldivian has announced that they will be making thirty additional flights to 11 domestic destinations during the Fitr Eid holidays.
National airline Maldivian has announced that they will be making thirty additional flights to 11 domestic destinations during the Fitr Eid holidays.
Maldivian said that this is being done so as to meet the demand which increases during the holiday period.
The highest number of flights will be to Gan. Eight flights outside the normal schedule has been planned to Gan between March 29 and April 5.
Five additional flights have been scheduled to Fuvahmulah, with increased flights to HDh. Hanimaadhoo, HDh. Kulhudhuhfushi, HA. Hoarafushi, Sh. Fonadhoo, L. Kahdhoo, GDh. Kaadehdhoo, GDh. Maavarulaa, GDh. Faresmaathodaa and GA. Kooddoo.
Maldivian has also introduced sea plane trips to Baa Atoll for the Eid holidays. These flights will commence on March 31 with Baa atoll Fehendhoo, Goidhoo and Fulhadhoo as destinations.
Maldivian currently has 25 planes in its fleet. This includes five ATRs and 11 seaplanes dedicated for domestic flights.
