Police recovered 189.69 grams of suspected drugs and money from the house.
A mother and daughter have been arrested in Haa Dhaalu atoll Hanimaadhoo for allegedly using and dealing drugs.
The arrests were made in a joint operation conducted by Hanimaadhoo Police Station and Counter Narcotics Intelligence yesterday.
The suspects, Aminath, 56, and Fathimath Maya, 25, were taken into custody from their residence, Maya Palace.
Police recovered 189.69 grams of suspected drugs and money from the house.
The two were presented before Hanimaadhoo Magistrate’s Court, where Aminath was remanded for 5 days and Maya for 15 days.
