Under the existing unilateral visa-free regime, Tajikistan already offers Maldivians a 30 day visa. However, the new agreement provides on-arrival visas in an official capacity.
Tajikistan has signed an agreement to issue 30-day on-arrival visas for Maldivians.
The agreement was signed by Maldives' Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dr Ali Naseer Mohamed, and Tajikistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Jonibek Hikmat.
Under the existing unilateral visa-free regime, Tajikistan already offers Maldivians a 30 day visa. However, the new agreement provides on-arrival visas in an official capacity.
Maldivian passports holders currently have visa free access to more than 60 countries worldwide.
