SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC) Managing Director Aishath Fifsheen Ali has been dismissed from the post.
Fifsheen was appointed as MD of SDFC in January last year.
The Privatization and Corporatization Board confirmed Fifsheen's dismissal today, although reasons for the dismissal were not disclosed.
Fifsheen has worked in the banking sector for 20 years, with most of her career spent at the Bank of Maldives. Fifsheen joined the banking sector in 2003. She has served as Head of Cards, Head of Channel Management, and Head of Acquiring and Digital Payments at the Bank of Maldives.
