Maldives Qualifications Authority (MQA) has decided a significant policy change that will require students at higher education institutions to achieve a 50 percent pass rate in all examinations to pass their courses.

This decision comes in response to rising concerns about academic integrity, particularly regarding the hiring of individuals to complete assignments on behalf of students.
