The case commenced at the Criminal Court in 2018.
Criminal Court said that based on the evidence submitted by the State against Aleef, his guilt is proven beyond any doubt.
Under the Special Provisions Act to Deal with Child Sexual Abuse, a person convicted of the sexual abuse of a child in the family can be sentenced to prison for a period of between 20 to 25 years.
