Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Abdulla Khaleel, arrived in Malta today for an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.
During his trip, Minister Khaleel will meet Malta’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, Ian Borg.
The pair are expected to discuss closer cooperation between the two countries and exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual concern.
Minister Khaleel is also scheduled to hold talks with other senior members of the Maltese cabinet, focusing on areas such as environmental conservation, sustainable development, renewable energy transition, and boosting trade and tourism.
Minister Khaleel is joined on the visit by Foreign Ministry Secretary Dr Hala Hameed and Senior Under Secretary Hassan Hussain Shihaab.
