In the Golden Futsal Challenge 2025, Alif Dhaalu atoll Mandhoo and Gaafu Alif Dhevvadhoo have won their respective Atoll Cups. This is the first time that both teams have been crowned atoll champions.
Mandhoo became Alif Dhaalu atoll champions through beating Mahibadhoo with a 1-2 score in the finals. The best player of the atoll was Ibrahim Imran (Immi) of Mandhoo. The most number of goals was scored by Mohamed Naim of Dhangethi.
In Gaafu Alif atoll, Dhevvadhoo won the finals playing against Vilin'gili. The team won with a whopping 1-9 score. Dhevvadhoo players Ahnaf Rasheed (Ahukko) and Shifaz Adil (Mata) scored hattricks in the final match.
Best player of the atoll and highest goal scorer also went to Ahnaf Rasheed.
In the Haa Alif semifinals, reigning champion Dhidhoo beat Maarandhoo with a 1-3 score. Vashafaru beat Kelaa 3-4 in the second semifinal match.
The atoll's final match will be played at 8pm on Saturday.
In the semifinals, Kumundhoo lost to Neykurandhoo with a 1-2 score while last year's champions Naivaadhoo beat Makunudhoo with a 0-6 score.
Haa Dhaalu atoll finals will be played on Saturday night at 8pm.
Tonight, four atolls will play their final matches. These are Raa atoll, Gaafu Dhaalu atoll, Noonu atoll and Seenu atoll. Before this, Kaafu atoll will play their semifinal matches.
