President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has urged all citizens to align their actions with the teachings of the Holy Quran and integrate its principles into their daily lives.

Speaking at the Hafiz Graduation Ceremony on Wednesday evening at the Islamic Centre, he emphasized that the Quran should be viewed as a practical “guide book,” not just a text recited at official events.

President highlighted the need to restore human dignity, which he noted is currently eroding in society, by adhering to Quranic teachings.

He urged citizens to avoid actions forbidden in the Quran, such as defamation, division, and spreading falsehoods.

In his address, he highlighted the importance of mutual respect for societal progress and emphasized that Islam teaches faith and the protection of fellow Muslims from harm, whether through words or actions.

The President asserted that society would improve if individuals treated others with the same respect and dignity they expect for themselves.
