In a press conference held last night, Assistant Commissioner of Police Abdulla Shareef said that six individuals have been questioned so far in relation to suspected forged documents submitted in relation to land plots under the Binveriya scheme.
"Up to now, we are not accusing Fazul of anything. However, as the investigation proceeds, we will question and raise charges against anyone necessary," he said.
Shareef said that investigations so far show three separate land plots in Hulhumale' as having issues.
Some of these lots have documents submitted by more than one person.
