President Muizzu will visit four islands in Gaafu Alifu atoll and five islands in Gaafu Dhaalu atoll during the three day tour.
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has departed on a tour of some islands of Gaaful Alifu and Gaafu Dhaalu atolls.
According to the President's Office, the President will visit four islands in Gaafu Alifu atoll and five islands in Gaafu Dhaalu atoll during the three day tour.
President Muizzu will visit Hoandeddhoo, Nadellaa, Vaadhoo, Fiyoari and Rathafandhoo islands of Gaafu Dhaalu atoll. He is also set to visit Kanduhulhudhoo, Nilandhoo, Maamendhoo and Dhevvadhoo islands in Gaafu Alifu atoll.
President Muizzu will inaugurate the water and sanitation network service in Hoandeddhoo during this visit.
He is scheduled to meet citizens, inquire on the island’s developmental needs and address the island communities. Additionally, he will also meet Maamendhoo and Dhevvadhoo Councils to have a deeper understanding of the challenges facing the citizens and their developmental needs.
This tour is part of the President’s pledge to engage with local councils across the atolls, islands, and cities.
