STELCO has announced that they are going to conduct a training program for female electricians, titled 'Beginners Electrician Course for Women'.
STELCO has announced that they are going to conduct a training program for female electricians, titled 'Beginners Electrician Course for Women'.
STELCO said that it decided to conduct the course to facilitate trainings for women interested in the field, and to allow them to develop in the industry alongside their male counterparts.
Applicants to the course must be 16 years and above of age.
The deadline for application to this free course is November 4.
The course will be conducted over a period of four days, with three hour sessions each day. The course will cover safe use of electricity, bringing down expenditure on electricity and basic information on electrical wiring.
Even at present, STELCO employees female electricians, and has conducted similar trainings previously as well.
