PG said it would not change the charges against Kings.
Prosecutor General Abbas Shareef has decided not to review the charges against Kings Capital Company's Managing Director Alhan Fahmy and his two brothers for introducing an investment scheme and collecting money from multiple people.
Besides Alhan, the prosecution is charging his brother Shazban Fahmy and Shahban Fahmy in connection with the scheme. They are facing a total of 13 charges.
Kings asked Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) to review the criminal charges after the newly appointed PG Abbas Shareef said the office would review charges if a request is submitted.
PGO said today that it had reviewed the charges in the case and decided that there was no reason or circumstance to change the charges.
The bank accounts of King previously got seized by the bank. However, the Civil Court later ruled that the accounts were seized illegally.
