A special event called "Eid Haveeru" is being organized to celebrate Eid al-Fitr in a grand way.
Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has announced that the event aims to encourage families to come together, exchange Eid greetings, and enjoy the occasion in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
The event will take place in a large area spanning from Sultan Park to the Islamic Center, Republic Square, and the Presidential Jetty.
Visitors will have designated areas to wait and participate in the Eid celebrations, which will include various entertainment activities and the distribution of Eid gifts.
