Lhaviyani atoll Kurendhoo has advanced to the second round of the Gold Cup after defeating Kaafu atoll Guraidhoo 1-0.
With a previous win against Addu City, Guraidhoo had already secured a spot in the second round, and even a draw in this match would have been enough to see them through. Before the match, Kaafu atoll Huraa was third in the Group C points table, while Kurendhoo was at the bottom.
