The ATMs places in Thulusdhoo will offer deposits and withdrawals around the clock. The ATMs allow for deposits of up to MVR 200,000 at a time. Using Business Cards allow for higher deposits.
MIB said that these are the latest model of ATMs and deposits can be made using cash cards as well, and deposits without the card can be made through using phone numbers.
To deposit without cards, customers will have to enter their phone numbers, upon which an OTP will be sent to the phone. Once the OTP number is entered and verified, customers can enter the bank account number to which the funds are to be deposited.
MIB has placed ATMs in many islands and set up service centres in high population areas. Many of its services are available online as well.
