Names of 42 companies that failed to submit income tax statements to Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has been disclosed.

Names of 42 companies that failed to submit income tax statements to Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has been disclosed.

The list published by MIRA includes major companies operating in the Maldives.

Companies that failed to submit income tax statement

- AAA Trading

- Aima Construction

- Big Fish Maldives

- Bon Free Private

- Canaries Resort

- Centurion Public Limited

- China Machinery Engineering Corporation

- Coral Island Maldives

- Driftwood Maldives

- Ensis

- Equatorial Lines

- Ihusaan Fihaara

- Kandinma Resort

- Litus Construction, Litus General Trading, Litus Maldives

- Miriandhoo

- Nawaloka Construction

- Platinum Capital

- Saudi Bin Laden Company

- Sheesha

- Lotus Fihaara and Lotus Bike under Senior international

The resorts in the list were also included on the 'Name and Shame' list shared by MIRA in 2022, of those who failed to pay taxes.

As per MIRA policies, if a company on this list submits their tax statement, they will be removed from the list.
