Out Patient services (OPD) at IGMH, Dharumavantha Hospital, Vilimale' Hospital and Hulhumale' Hospital have been declared closed today due to the continuous rains in Male' area.
IGMH, however, stated that IPD services will continue at all four hospitals.
OPD services at the hospitals are closed today due to the difficulties patients will face in visiting the hospitals due to flooded streets, Male' Group of Hospitals said.
IGMH is located at an area which sees heavy flooding. The area was flooded in the yesterday's rains as well.
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu also declared today a government holiday due to the heavy rains across Maldives.
