Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid, on Monday, departed to Germany on an official visit to attend the Fifth Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue.
The Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue, held from April 9-10, is a leading international forum for exchanging ideas on safe, affordable and environmentally responsible global energy transition.
At the dialogue, Minister Shahid will contribute to the panel discussion on 'Geopolitics in the Age of renewable energy'.
During the visit, he is set to meet the German Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Heiko Maas and discuss on enhancing existing bilateral relations and further exploring avenues for cooperation between both countries.
The Minister is attending Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue on the invitation extended by Heiko Maas and the German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Peter Altmaier.
