This year, the team is in Group B. They played their first match yesterday against The Grande Sports, which ended with a 1-1 tie.
In the second half of the match, The Grande's Ibrahim Zaeem scored a goal through a penalty, taking the lead for the team. Two minutes later, Ahmed Niyaz scored a goal for Muiveyo, equalizing the score.
Ahmed Ashfan, former National Team player and current Deputy Controller General at Maldives Immigration, is also playing in the league. He plays for The Grande.
In addition to Muiveyo and The Grande, Group B also features STELCO, Club Eagles and Police Club. Group A consists of Hulhumale', Vilimale', Dhivehi Sifainge Club, Zelot and Hurriyya.
