Three individuals were seriously injured in a major road accident that occurred on Wednesday night on Boduthakurufaanu Magu in Male' City.
Police revealed that the accident, where two motorcycles collided head on, happened at 11.26 PM on Wednesday night in front of Villa College.
Two men and a woman injured in this accident are currently receiving treatment at IGMH. According to the hospital, all are in serious conditions.
As learned by Mihaaru, the two injured men are currently placed on ventilators and receiving critical care at the hospital.
Last week, another serious accident was caused in Hulhumale' when an out of control car veered into the wrong lane and collided with three incoming motorcycles. One of the victims of that accident passed away on Tuesday due to injuries.
