Two men have been apprehended for stealing 12 batteries from pickup trucks.
A police media official said that the batteries were recovered from individuals in a pickup truck, which was stopped on suspicion at the junction of Fareedhee Magu and Chaandhanee Magu.
Ali Ahusan, 32, and Mohamed Nazeed, 43 were arrested in the case.
Further investigations are currently underway, police said.
