The President's Office said tonight that the masterplan consists of risk management in the use of AI and design of a legal framework for the purpose.
President Muizzu came to this decision after discussions held during yesterday's cabinet meeting. The masterplan is to be framed based on AI initiatives in regional countries as well.
The President has instructed the Ministry of Homeland Security and Technology and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to prepare and present documentation on this process.
The President, during recent trips abroad, has also emphasized this administration's aim to build a digital economy by 2030.
