Last year's runner-up Customs Recreation beat champion Eagles at the final event of LITUS National Billiard Championship 2022.

The final event of the championship, competed for the President's Cup consists a total of five teams pining for the prestigious title.

Customs Recreation dethroned previous year's champion with a 2-3 game.

Running concurrently, the second match was between Maziya Sports and Recreation and Islanders Hope Sports Club, with the former emerging with a five-game win.

The team, and final event is run in a league format. First evening of the event concluded with Customs taking top spot. Customs beat Maziya Sports and Recreation at the second match with a 2-3 game.

Despite a rocky start, hitting a loss against Customs, Eagles amped up their A-game for the second match against Dhivehi Sifainge Club (DSC). Eagles won the match with a 2-3 game.

Sunday's, November 13, matches will be played between Islanders Hope against DSC and Maziya going against Eagles.

Teams that score the highest points will advance to semi-final. First and second place during the group stage will directly secure a spot in the finals if they win a game against each other - the loser will be facing against the winner from the game played between third and fourth place teams.

While the championship has entered its final event, its men's and women's singles event, second division singles, doubles and mixed-doubles events have already concluded successfully.
