This includes two beachfront plots, one measuring 1,454 square feet and the other 1,261 square feet, as well as 16 beachside plots ranging from 1,316 to 1,584 square feet.
The beachfront plots are priced at MVR 4,500 per square foot, with the 1,261 square feet plot valued at MVR 5.7 million and the 1,454 square feet plot priced at MVR 6.5 million.
The beachside plots are priced at a minimum of MVR 4,000 per square foot, with prices for the 16 newly announced plots ranging between MVR 5.3 million and MVR 6.3 million.
Last September, HDC announced the sale of 16 plots of land, with sizes ranging from 1,000 to 3,400 square feet. The largest plot at that time was valued at MVR 14 million.
The sale of these land plots is exclusively available to Maldivian nationals aged 18 and above, as well as 100 percent locally owned companies.
Last May, the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) announced the sale of 13 plots of land. With the recent announcement of 18 additional plots, the total number of land plots offered for sale by HDC this year has now reached 47.
Last year, HDC opened two rounds of land sales in Hulhumale', offering 17 plots in one round and 13 in the other.
