According to the President's Office, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu appointed Hikma Ahmed Nizar to the position of Employment Tribunal member today. The appointment took place during a special ceremony held at the President's Office this afternoon.
During the ceremony, Hikma took the oath of office as a member of the Employment Tribunal. High Court Judge Hassan Shafeeu administered the oath in the presence of the President. The President then presented Hikma with the official appointment letter.
Prior to this appointment, Hikma served as a Senior Administrative Officer at the Employment Tribunal from 2020 to 2024.
Hikma holds a Bachelor of Sharia and Law from Avid College and a Master's in Public Administration.
