Deputy CEO of MIB Ahmed Riza accepted this award during a ceremony hosted at Villa Nautica Maldives Resort on Tuesday night. The award signifies the company's steady efforts to develop the nation's digital transformation sector, the Deputy CEO said.
During the ceremony, CEO and Managing Director of MIB Mufaddal Idris Khumri was also presented a GIFA in the category of Transformation Leader. This is in recognition of the commendable digital transformation work the bank has continued to proceed under his leadership.
Accepting his award, Mufaddal acknowledged the dedicated efforts of MIB's team towards digitalizing the national banking scene and expressed his gratitude. The MIB team is amicable and professional, he said, adding that this award is a success they had claimed through hard work. He highlighted that he is deeply honored to lead a team such as that at MIB.
MIB is among banks who brought digital transformations to the country's banking sector and offers digital services at the company. This includes opening bank accounts and submitting documents to the bank's finance facility among a range of other services.
