Allied Insurance has resumed cashless service once again.
Allied Insurance has resumed cashless service once again.
Along with some other private insurance companies, Allied halted cashless services yesterday following the government's Aasandha policy change where private insurance was applied where available before provision of Aasandha coverage.
In an email last night, Allied informed healthcare facilities that they have now resumed cashless service.
Cashless service is where billing transactions are between the insurance company and the service provider, with the patient seeking service not having to pay directly.
In the email, Allied said that those seeking outpatient services can now use cashless service until their coverage limit is reached.
