Five players scored a total of seven hat-tricks. Additionally, one team scored three own goals in a single match.
Ahmed Husam (Husanko) from R. Alifushi and Zain Zafar from K. Dhiffushi each scored two hat-tricks. Mohamed Shameem and Ahmed Rizwan from Dhiffushi, and Ahmed Aflaz from Th. Thimarafushi also scored hat tricks.
Yesterday evening, R. Alifushi defeated Rasgetheemu 6-0, with Ahmed Husam scoring all six goals. With this win, Alifushi secured their semifinal spot with 4 points from two matches in Group A. The remaining match in the group is between Rasgetheemu and Maduvvari.
In the other R. Atoll match, Inguraidhoo defeated defending atoll champions Dhuvaafaru 2-1 with a late goal by Ahmed Aiham (Aihu). Inguraidhoo has won both their matches to secure a semi-final spot, with one group match remaining between Dhuvaafaru and Meedhoo.
K. Atoll matches began last night, with the most hat tricks coming from` their first match. In Group A, Dhiffushi defeated Himmafushi 18-2. Dhiffushi's Zain Zafar scored six goals, including two hat tricks, while Mohamed Shameem and Ahmed Rizwan each scored hat tricks. Himmafushi scored three own goals in this match. The other Group A match between Gaafaru and Maafushi ended in a 1-1 draw.
In K. Atoll's Group B, Gulhi defeated Thulusdhoo 2-1. The match between Guraidhoo and Kaashidhoo ended in a 2-2 draw.
In Th. Atoll's Group B, Hirilandhoo defeated Burunee 7-1 last night. Although no hat tricks were scored in this match, Hirilandhoo has secured their spot in the atoll semifinals with nine points from three wins. This was Burunee's first loss. Burunee is currently second in the group with six points from winning their first two matches.
Gaadhiffushi is third in Group B after defeating Kandoodhoo 4-3 last night, earning three points. Kandoodhoo has yet to earn any points, while Veymandoo also remains pointless in this group.
In Group A, the tournament's most successful team, Thimarafushi defeated Dhiyamigili 9-1, winning their second match. Thimarafushi's Ahmed Aflaz scored a hat trick in this match. Kinbidhoo defeated Vilufushi 3-0 last night in the same group.
Thimarafushi currently leads this group with wins in both matches. Vilufushi is second with six points from three matches, while Kinbidhoo is third with four points from three matches. Omadhoo has earned one point from two matches, while Dhiyamigili has lost both their matches so far.
Two ADh. Atoll matches were played yesterday evening. Dhangethi defeated Hangnaameedhoo 3-2, securing their spot in the atoll semi-finals with six points from two matches in Group A.
This three-team group now has one remaining match between Hangnaameedhoo and Kunburudhoo.
In ADh. Atoll's Group B, Mahibadhoo defeated Mandhoo 3-0 yesterday in their first match.
Mandhoo had won their first match against Omadhoo 3-2 last Friday night. Both Mahibadhoo and Mandhoo have three points, with the final group match to be played between Mahibadhoo and Omadhoo.
