A Bangladeshi national died in reclaimed suburb Hulhumale' on Sunday.
Maldives Police Service revealed the 38-year-old was taken to the hospital around 1400 hours.
"There are no visible injuries on his body".
The Bangladeshi man was reportedly living in an 'expat residence' area in the suburb.
Police stated that they were currently investigating his death.
According to Maldives Immigration, there are approximately 143,000 expatriates working in the country, out of which 63,000 are unregistered.
