Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced that eight land plots from Hulhumale' Phase 2 are up for sale exclusively for Maldivians.
HDC said that these land plots, which will be sold through a bidding process, include 2 beach front land plots, and six from the beach side.
The Beach front land plots are 1708 sqft and 1737 sqft in size. The land plots from the beach side are between 1513 sqft and 1534 sqft.
All Maldivians over the age of 18 are eligible to apply to buy these land plots. If a company is proposing a bid, then the company must be 100 percent Maldivian shareholding company registered in the Maldives.
Bidding for beach front plots start at MVR 4500, while the starting bid for beach side plots is MVR 4000.
Applicants can submit EOIs to purchase more than one land plot, HDC said.
