Opposition, Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), has announced that it will provide legal assistance to individuals dismissed from state-owned companies and civil service positions for political reasons.
In a statement released today, the party said that employees who do not support the government or President Dr Mohamed Muizzu are being intimidated and dismissed due to their political beliefs.
Therefore, MDP has committed to assisting these individuals in pursuing legal action, the party added.
