Maldives have condemned the bombing of Al-Nuseirat Camp in central Gaza by Israeli occupation forces, causing the massacre of innocent civilians.
The attacks resulted in the deaths of 33 civillians.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday, the ministry said that Maldives reaffirms its position that such repeated violations of international law and international humanitarian law, targeting of civilians continues to escalate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, and must be stopped with urgent, effective interventions from the international community.
The statement added that Maldives continues to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people in their pursuit of justice and statehood.
The death toll in the ongoing Israel-Gaza war has surpassed 45,000 Palestinians so far.
