Six employees of Ooredoo complete training from Harvard University

This initiative, which began in 2021, aims to empower and provide world-class training to Ooredoo's employees, marks the first time a program from such a university has been available to employees in Maldives.

Ooredoo Maldives has announced that six of its employees have successfully completed the Leadership Development Program, conducted in collaboration with Harvard University.

This initiative, which began in 2021, aims to empower and provide world-class training to Ooredoo's employees, marks the first time a program from such a university has been available to employees in Maldives.

Every year, Ooredoo selects two employees to participate in the one year program, which focuses on bringing new, innovative ideas and leadership skills back to the company. Ooredoo said that the completion of this program is seen as a significant investment in the professional development of its workforce.

Fatima Al-Kuwari, Ooredoo Maldives' Chairperson and Group HR and Sustainability Officer, praised the contributions of the program's graduates, noting that their ideas will play a key role in shaping the future of the company.

She emphasized Ooredoo’s ongoing commitment to fostering leadership and innovation among its employees.

Chief Executive Officer Khalid Hassan Al-Hamadi highlighted the program’s role in promoting leadership and productivity within the company.

He expressed pride in the graduates and highlighted how their achievements reflect Ooredoo’s dedication to setting high standards in telecommunications and service delivery in the Maldives.

Ooredoo, as a leading provider of telecommunications and digital services in the Maldives, continues to prioritize the development of future leaders through similar programs and initiatives.
