Fuvahmulah has won yet another match, this time against HA. Dhidhhoo, with a score of 7-3, thanks to Ghanaian striker Kofi Owusu.

Fuvahmulah advanced to today's match three points after winning their first match of the championship. However, today's match was Dhidhhoo's first match.

Fuvahmulah's Ali Shamal Abdulla gave the team a lead early in the match by scoring two goals - the second just 20 minutes after his first goal.

Dhidhhoo's team went on to the championship with no practice, with many players who work in different resorts spread across the country. The team's manager Abdulla Rasheed said that the entire squad was only able to band up for the tournament.

Despite this, the team gave a good right, with the first goal scored in the 33rd minute, by Adam Azim.

However, Kofi scored his first goal in the 42nd minute, with Dhidhhoo's second goal entering the post with minutes to space in the first half.

In the beginning of the second half, Kofi, who previously played for New Radiant in the second division, scored Fuvahmulah's fourth goal. The team scored their last three goals within the last 15 minutes of the match. Kofi made a hat-trick in the 81st minute, making the fifth goal for Fuvahmulah, with Mohamed Iyas Ahmed coming in with another goal just four minutes later.

Dhidhhoo made use of a penalty and scored their third goal in the 89th minute. However, Fuvahmulah widened the gap and scored their final goal in the fifth minute during extra time.

In tonight's match of the Gold Cup, group D teams Alifushi and Kendhoo will face off against each other.
