Pension Office launches scholarship program for financial sector

Pension Office has introduced a scholarship program aimed at developing professionals in the financial sector.

Pension Office announced yesterday that the program seeks to provide higher education opportunities in key areas needed for Maldives' financial industry.

This merit-based, fully funded scholarship will enable students to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies at globally recognized universities.

Pension Office announce the specific fields of study and the number of scholarships available once a year.

For this year, one undergraduate scholarship has been offered in the fields of Financial Reporting and Analytics, Econometrics, or Actuarial Science.

Applications are open until March 16 at 4:00 p.m., and shortlisted candidates will be interviewed from April 8 and 17.
