Tree Top Hospital will be having a two day health camp in Laamu Gan over the next weekend.
The hospital organized the health camp to provide various health services to residents of Laamu Gan and nearby islands. The health camp will offer diagnosis of ailments of heart, lungs, bones, ear, nose, throat, joint aches, as well as the services of a dietician who will advise about healthy eating.
The camp is designed for health screening and will facilitate early detection of diseases, as well as offer awareness sessions on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention.
A team of experienced doctors from Tree Top Hospital will be joining the health camp. This includes;

- ENT Specialist, Dr Chandrashekar Rawal
- Orthopaedics Consultant, Dr Ali Muznee
- Orthopaedics Consultant, Dr Mohamed Habeeb
- Pulmonologist , Dr Tehzeeb Faruqui
- Nephrologist, Dr Jaya Prakash Nathan
- Rheumatology Specialist, Dr Jiwan Poudel
- Dietician, Dr Reeba Mary Tomychan
CEO of Tree Top Hospital Dr Srivatsan Sridhar G said that the hospital places high priority on holding health camps such as these. He said that the aim is to provide the high quality medical services available at Tree Top Hospital to Maldivians across the atolls.
Laamu atoll Gan Council Presiednt Ahemd Zaki said that the health camp provides the opportunity for the staff of Gan Regional Hospital to work alonside and learn from the experienced doctors of Tree Top Hospital. He further said that the camp would present the chance for patients will illnesses that cannot be treated at the island's hospital to consult specialists.

This camp is being run by Tree Top Hospital in collaboration with Gan Regional Hospital, with the assistance of the Laamu Atoll Council.
This camp is being conducted under Tree Top Hospital's CSR initiatives. This is the third camp of the kind organized by the hospital this year. Earlier they have held camps in Gaafu Alif atoll Vilin'gili and Gaafu Dhaalu atoll Thinadhoo, with over 1000 people attending each.
