Newly appointed Managing Director of Housing Development Corporation (HDC) Mauroof Jameel has met with the Commissioner of Police Ali Shujau.
Yesterday's meeting was the first held after Mauroof assumed his position.
The meeting was held at the Police Headquarters, with HDC Chairman Ahmed Nasif also attending. Along with CP Shujau, Deputy Commissioners Faruhad Fikry and Ismail Naveen, as well as one of the of those leading the investigation into the HDC issues, Assistant Commissioner Abdulla Shareef participated in the meeting.
In a post on X, Police said that the meeting included discussions about the ongoing investigation into the Gedhoruveriya and Binveriya housing schemes.
