According to an announcement by the Male' City Council, the distribution will take place every day, except for Fridays, from 2:30 pm to 6 pm and again from 8:30 pm to 11 pm.
The government will begin distributing fish can cases to households in the Male' region starting tomorrow at 2:30 pm, as part of an initiative to provide every household in the Maldives with a fish can case for the month of Ramadan.
According to an announcement by the Male' City Council, the distribution will take place every day, except for Fridays, from 2:30 pm to 6 pm and again from 8:30 pm to 11 pm.
The fish can cases will be available at the following locations:
1. Thaisay Koshi, Public Services Section
2. MIFCO head office grounds
3. Hulhumale' 1 (Umar Zahir Building)
4. Hulhumale' 2 (Ground Floor of Hiyaa Tower 10)
5. Vilimale' (City Council Office)
The distribution in Male' will continue until the end of February.
To collect the fish can cases, households must have paid their electricity bill. The council requests that residents bring their electricity meter number and ID card when collecting the items.
The distribution is limited to Maldivians only. While the Male' region begins tomorrow, the distribution in other islands started last week.
