Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Abdulla Khaleel has left today on an official visit to Saudi Arabia.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Abdulla Khaleel has left today on an official visit to Saudi Arabia.
The minister is making the trip on invitatio of Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
During the visit, discussions will be held on further strengthening ties between the countries, as well as on exploring possible avenues of future collaboration.
The Foreign Minister will also meet with Saudi Arabia's Minister of Commerce and discuss paths of enhancing trade and investment.
The visit, on which the Minister is accompanied by Secretary, Bilateral Dr Hala Hameed, and Joint Secretary Khadheeja Najeeha, is set to conclude on January 31.
