Club WAMCO has emerged victorious in the National Volleyball League Women's Division after defeating Police Club in a thrilling five set match held at Social Centre.

Club WAMCO has emerged victorious in the National Volleyball League Women's Division after defeating Police Club in a thrilling five set match held at Social Centre.

Both teams entered the final match undefeated, but it was WAMCO who ultimately won the title with a 3-2 victory, narrowly winning the final set 15-13.

The match saw intense competition throughout, with Police Club taking the first set 25-23.

However, Club WAMCO won the second set 25-17. Police Club fought back to claim the third set 25-23, but Club WAMCO kept their momentum going, securing the fourth set 25-21.

In the final set, Club WAMCO took an early lead, and despite a strong effort by Police Club to close the gap, they couldn't overtake WAMCO in the end.

Inna Yakovleva from Uzbekistan, playing for Club WAMCO, was named the best player of the match and the best foreign player of the tournament.

Fathimath Juzaan Zareer, also from WAMCO, was awarded both the best player of the tournament and the best setter. Police Club’s Maya Hussain Solah was recognized as the most promising player, while Ahmed Adeel (Beybe) from WAMCO Club was named the best coach of the tournament.

- Best Outside Hitter: Hawwa Raashidha (Police Club), Aishath Maajidha (Club WAMCO)

- Best Middle Blocker: Aminath Riyaasa (Club WAMCO), Maryam Azuma (Police Club)

- Best Setter: Fathimath Juzaan Zareer (Club WAMCO)

- Best Libero: Maiha Ali (Police Club)
