The Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure awarded the Fuvahmulah ring road development project to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) on March 27.
Permanent Secretary Zeeniya Ahmed Hameed signed the contract on behalf of the Infrastructure Ministry while MTCC was represented by CEO Hassan Shah.
In addition to the construction of a 2,400 square metre ring road, MTCC stated that the project would include the establishment of a water drainage system and installation of LED street lights.
The company further shared that the estimated cost of the project is over MVR 32 million.
